Made by Matthew Boulton and John Fothergill.
Bell shaped body with everted lip, the central section plain and engraved at the front with a coat of arms of the Tighe family. The upper and lower body sections are fluted and separated respectively from the central section by a reed and tie border, and a beaded border. The square base has mildly incurved sides and a band of floral guilloche decoration from which the fluted stem rises to a foliate flange below the body. The tall looped handles have three lines of beaded decoration with foliate junctions under the arm.
