Stiklestad July 1961: "The Game of Saint Olav". 200 valley waves draw every year in the Viking costume to live the night before the Battle of Stiklestad in the year 1030. The game is only going on for three days, and most foreign tourists miss out on a fantastic performance. Most of the performance are local extras, and only a few are professional actors. Here we see one of them, Gisle Straume on the horse playing the king. The frame around the show is the best, with Olav support and both Catholic and Protestant church close by.
