Border Jakobselv Easter 1949 nothing new from the border in the north A 160-kilometer strip of virgin snow from the outlet of the border Jakobselv to Borderfoss in Pasvikdalen, becomes the only common border the Atlantic Pact countries with the Soviet Union when Norway joins the A-covenant. Aktuell went along the border and talked to the people living there. Once a week there is a boat call in the border Jakobselv, and the upsetters then drive the milk and bring goods back. The trip is very tiring for most people, and during the journey they meet virtually the limit personally, with border piles, fence and everything else. The fence is not set up along the entire border yet, but it will probably come.
