In the autumn of 1934, a trial took place in Bern against the Swiss editors of the so-called “Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion”, after the Bernese Jewish Community and the Swiss Federation of Jewish Communities (SIG) jointly filed a complaint in 1933. In fact, however, it is a compilation of several fictional texts.
