The Migros mobile food truck - on August 25, 1925 the Migros started to operate 5 such trucks, which were able to deliver products to 178 stops in the city of Zurich, Switzerland. The philosophy behind the business ideas of Gottlieb Duttweiler was: a big revenue, a small profit and fresh products, which were offered at the mobile food trucks for much lower prices than usual. Despite the resistance of the retail dealers and food manufacturers migros was growing very fast. Today Migros is the largest retail dealer of Switzerland and ranks among the 500 largest enterprises in the world, pictured in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1954.
