The critical journalist and editor of the weekly journal "Die Nation" Peter Hirsch (Peter Surava) in January 1949 in front of thedistrict court in Berne, Switzerland. The publisher's cooperation of the journal "Die Nation" accuses Peter Surava of fraud, forging of documents and unfaithful management. The accused person is blamed to have cheated his employer in Zurich together with the journal's sales agent Mauch of 40'000 Swiss Franks. 1946 Surava, one of the last independent journalists writing critically despite the censorship of the press during Second World War, was arrested and set free after 14 days and was later rehabilitated.
