Kuchen-Inneres. Fruher war die Kuche nicht so hell und mit allen, Zeit und Arbeit ersparenden, Bequemlichkeiten ausgestattet wie heutzutage. Den grossten Raum nahm der Herd ein, auf dem ein offenes Feuer brannte. Daruber befand sich der breite Rauchfang. Das Fleisch briet man auf dem Rost oder am Spiess in solchen Mengen, wie sie heute kaum noch auf die burgerliche Festtafel kommen. Translation: Inside the Kitchen.
