'Novissima et accuratissima insulae Jamaicae descriptio'. A map from 'Atlas Maritimus', or the Sea Atlas; being a book of maritime charts. Hand coloured, scale: circa 1:550 000 (bar), the borders graduated for latitude, the bar scale is in English miles. It also contains the seal of the island, the shields of the first four governors, a dedication to Sir Joseph Williamson, (secretary of state and an Assistant of the Royal Africa Company), a table of precincts and settlements and is decorated with crocodiles.
