Southend Hall, Bradford, 1908-09 (silver gelatin print)

Southend Hall interior in 1908 or soon after. This picture appears in Southend Hall's Jubilee Handbook & Souvenir, 1880-1930, as an illustration of the hall after work was done on it. In 1908 Eastbrook re-united with Southend overseeing its church and working on its mission lines. Money was spent on alterations including the famous tip-up chairs probably installed by C Pratt and Sons. The name 'Southend Wesleyan Chapel' became 'Southend Hall'. Bradford archive (67D86/13) has leaflet for the opening ceremonies of the new Southend Hall. Reverend Prunell writes intro.
