Walter Ulbricht and Nikita Khrushchev 1958

Walter Ernst Paul Ulbricht (1893 1973) homme politique communiste allemand, membre du Parti communiste d'Allemagne (KPD) puis du Parti socialiste unifie d'Allemagne (SED). Il fut l'un des principaux dirigeants de la Republique democratique allemande (RDA), en tant que secretaire general du SED et president du Conseil d'Etat, ici en 1958 Walter Ulbricht (L), First Secretary of the Central Committee of the SED, and Nikita Khrushchev (R), First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, pictured at Berlin East Station on 08 July 1958. Krushchev was a guest at the fifth party conference of the SED.
