Jun 06, 1953 - Duisburg Red Party Office Burned down: On Friday 19 June 1953 at 0015 hours, an excited Duisburg President threw a gas-container into the interior rooms of the Communist Party office in Duisburg, Western Germany. He escaped unrecognized. An alarmed fire-bridge extinguished the fire, and while the crew were fighting the fire. Civilians roared “Let the hole burn cut!” Photo Shows The Duisburg Community's Party Office pictured in the early morning hours, on June 18th, 1953. A policeman is on guard in order to prevent similar events. The arrow indicate the broken window thru which the Duisburg citizen threw the gas-container.
