Over this a Gwn. On her shoulders a cloak fastened by a fibula. At the bottom of plate is represented a pair of bronze breats plates, discovered near Polden Hill, Somersetshire. Image taken from The Costume of the original inhabitants of the British Islands from the earliest periods to the sixth century, to which is added that of theGothic nations on the Western Coasts of the Baltic, the ancestors of the Anglo-saxons and Anglo-Danes..
