Siege at 100 Sidney Street, East London. 3 January 1911. Gunfight between the police and two men of the London Anarchists, who had killed 3 policemen and injured two others when they were interrupted during a robbery (16 December 1910). Troops were called and Churchill came to take command. The gunmen were killed. Caption reads 'No4. Scots Guards Firing at House in Sidney St. where the Houndsditch Assassins were.' Postcard posted in 1911.
