Video description

TILT down. Daylight. View of the Curia and St. Luca Church (Santi Luca e Martina) at the northwest end of the Roman Forum. The curia was rebuilt by Caesar in 53 BC following a fire. It was later remodeled and reconstructed by Augustus, Domitian and Diocletian, and was transformed into the Church of St. Hadrian in the 7th century. The Church of St. Luca and St. Martina was originally built in 625 AD on the order of Pope Honorius I. It was rebuilt by Pietro da Cortona in the 17th century.
