The development of cathode ray tubes (CRT) possessing a deflection angle of 110 degrees made the production of semi-portable and compact television receivers, such as this one, possible. It works on AC or DC and was built on an aluminium chassis with a major part of its wiring in the form of printed circuits, including that of the 13 channel tuner.
