The committee describes the olive wreath as an image interwoven with the city of Athens, peace, the circle of life, the sky and the sea of Greece. The logo, designed by Greece's "Red Design Consultants" and Britain's "Wolff Olins," was selected from the 690 entries submitted to the committee. YB
