Detail of one of the three Sicilian sets for the shooting of the kolossal 'The Leopard', directed by Luchino Visconti. After fifteen months of a producing that began at the end of December 1961, the film was released in preview. The first clapboard was clapped on 14th of May 1962. In this picture, the crew is setting up the set at Villa Boscogrande, in the surroundings of Palermo. This place - where the first scenes of the film were shooted - replaces the Salina's Palace and was renovate in 24 days. Palermo, Italy, 1962
