Video description

PAN and TILT up, exterior, daylight. The Gardens spread across several terraces in the palatial area. The shot ends with a LA view of the Romantic Mirador. Generalife Palace was the summer palace and country estate of the Nasrid Sultans of Granada. The palace and gardens were built during the reign of Muhammad III (1302-1309) and redecorated by the king Abu I-Walid Isma'il (1313-1324). The Romantic Mirador is a 19th century folly built over pre-existing walls, of unknown origin. Alhambra was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984.
