A passenger reads a sign announcing that trains will be cancelled at Kings Cross station in London after two trains collided in the north of England February 28, 2001. Up to 15 people were killed and 50 injured after a vehicle was struck by an Intercity train travelling at high speed, which was derailed as a result, that in turn was involved in a collision with a freight train, near the town of Selby in North Yorkshire.
