Caught on the fly. In Polesine Parmense two workers from Bergamo, Gino Marzetti and Santo Terzi, are repairing one of those dizzying iron pylons that support the cables for the transport of electricity; the first works in 130 meters high, the other about ten meters below. The Marzetti, feeling sick, unfastens his seat belt and is about to descend, when, unconscious, he falls into the void. The Terzi, who follows his friend's moves, leans out and succeeds in lightning fast grabbing him by the strap and holding him back. Some colleagues who had witnessed the scene in terror from below join the two and take them to safety. Illustration for Courier Sunday, 2 December 1956.
