This system consists of a main ring, located between the satellites Metis and Adrastee, then rings very held on the orbits of the satellites Amalthee and Thebe - Jupiter's Main ring is believed to be composed of dust and debris from meteoroid impacts with Jupiter's tiny innermost satellites Metis and Adrastea.
