Image description

Zarli Carigiet (left) as 'Duerst' and Ruedi Walter as 'Clown', shot on 11 September 1959 during the shooting of the film 'Hinter den sieben Gleisen' in Zurich. The cheerful-romantic story about three vagrants who show their human qualities in helping a young woman with an illegitimate child became a great national success. In addition to the melancholic-humorous story, the film also paints a fine picture of Zurich's industrial quarter at the end of the 1950s. It was directed by Kurt Frueh.
