Sides A and B: An oil-press. The press has a long beam weighted at the end by large sacks, presumably filled with stones. A nude, bearded workman hangs on the beam to increase the pressure. A beardless nude workman adjusts the straps holding the sacks. Oil pours from the pressing table into a krater or a wide-mouthed amphora. Condition: Slightly restored. diameter with handles: 21.2cm
